Do you need help with your homework, or do you know someone who
does?
Grammar got you down?
Maths giving you problems? Get help at one of the many school
homework cafés, found throughout Denmark. You will find them at your
local library, and everyone is welcome, no matter what subject you
need help with, or how old you are. The homework helpmates are
volunteering adults, who want to spend a few hours a week helping
others. Parents are also always welcome to stop by.

Want to start up a school homework café?
Libraries
and schools wishing to establish school homework cafés may apply for
financial support to the “homework help fund”. The fund will
close down on November 30th
2009, but do apply well in advance, as the funds will be allotted on
a “first-come-first-served” basis.
The Library Centre for
Integration can assist you with tips and advice on the entire
process, from writing the application, to establishing and operating
a school homework café. For further information, visit the Library
Centre for Integration homepage (Danish), or contact the school
homework café project management via email
or call Lone Bak Nielsen on telephone: 8946
2126 (mobile: 4131 7734).
